GEAR UP FOR GLOBAL COMPETITION
(Three things you’re supposed to be!)

We are living in the globalization era. It’s the time to reform. It’s the time to start a new chapter of life. Everyone competes to reach a brighter future. When you stop competing, that’s the day you’re becoming a loser! Your rivals come from so many different places around the globe. Every aspect of life is about competition: education, technology, economy, culture, and many more…
What can we do to win this challenging game? This is what I call 3 things you’re supposed to be.

1. Be different! Be unique!
Why being different/unique is so important?
If you do something different, people will see you in different way. Don’t be afraid of doing something crazy. Don’t hesitate to break the rule. Because there is no guarantee that the rule is right to be followed. Some are good and some are bad. You may make mistakes as long as this old world goes spinning then you will be able to create innovation.
Example:
Nicolaus Copernicus
Polish astronomer, best known for his astronomical theory that the sun is at rest near the center of the universe, and that the earth, spinning on its axis once daily, revolves annually around the sun. This is called the heliocentric, or sun-centered, system.
When all people around him said the earth was the center of universe, he bravely stated something totally different or contradictive. SEE!!! Nicholas’ right…

2. Be quick! One step ahead!
Doing something unique is not enough. When you have something different, show it to the world swiftly. Because when you are late, you will lose that chance forever. A lot of people will take that chance. And you will be left behind. Don’t put off till tomorrow what you can do today.
Example:

3. Be tough! No matter what happen, be strong!
You are different and you have been quick. Now, you need to be tough, to be strong. There will always be a probability of failure. There will always be a pile of barriers. But there is no need to worry. It is just natural. At first, perhaps you didn’t make it but then who knows. All you have to do is just try again. Never Give Up!
Example:
Nelson Mandela
South African activist, winner of the 1993 Nobel Peace Prize, and the first black president of South Africa. He became involved in the political struggle against the racial discrimination practiced in South Africa. For 18 years he’d been imprisoned on Robben Island and held under harsh conditions.

People might against you. They might refuse what you have or what you believe. Don’t let them make you weak. Be strong and keep on fighting.

So, guys….
That is a little piece of me that I want to share. Let’s get ready for global competition. Be unique, be quick and be strong! We will create a better and brighter future for sure.
